This game is a rip off don't get it u don't even get to make lemonade! It sounds like a fun game but it is not!!!! Don't get it!!!
Nice Classic Update.
People: Lemonade Stand is a 30+ year old game that came packaged with the Apple //c. Yes, it's simple. Yes, it's old. But is it a spot-on emulation? Yes.
You don't get to know the hopes and dreams of all of your virtual customers, nor does the app dispense freshly squeezed lemonade out of a hole in your iPhone. If that's what you need, then go play the Sims or go buy a tub of Country Time Lemonade.
For retro nuts, the game plays like it should. The pacing is faster without the //c's disk read time but that's the only major difference. The updated graphics are a little too cutesy for my tastes, but the retro graphics are true nostalgia.
The review section for this game got trolled. It's an old classic, and you get what you pay for (and it's a fair price).
Memories of my Apple IIc come rushing back
If you were born after the 70's, you probably shouldn't buy and/or review this game. I wondered why the lower rating & then laughed at some of the absurd reviews from "modern" gamers.
Of course you don't actually mix lemonade, or wander around virtual streets setting up lemonade stand businesses while other people online join you.
This is the classic game from the 80's, back when our computers had less power than a calculator now. It's about nostalgia; not about current simulation games. If you ever played it on your Apple with the black background & green letters/"graphics" this will bring back your memories. If you didn't play the game back then, "Cupcake" or "Sim City" might be more your style!
